A painted portrait is a beautiful work of art created with you, or often your child, family or home as the subject matter.  These beautiful creations are Janell's most favorite art to create.  The creative process begins with a  personal consultation to discuss, sketch out and plan your painting.  Special clothing and props are arranged if necessary, and then a photography session is scheduled.  Once your photographic session is complete, we meet and decide on the image.  Janell then creates the painting, you see "proofs" via email throughout the process.  Janell combines digital rendering, acrylics, oils and a variety of mediums in her artwork.  Once the painting is approved, final work is done and your painting is framed and ready for you to enjoy.  This process takes 3-4 months.  Please call the studio to set up an appointment to discuss Janell's vision for a beautiful painting for you and your family.
